Learn more about the Rottweiler.

Noelle will be available to bring home in February.

Noelle was the product of a breeder who is in Rotties for money not the breed. When Noelle's mom bit her and two of her siblings, she suffered a broken leg and an infection. Noelle's two siblings died but she is a fiesty girl and wouldn't give up so easily! The breeder decided she didn't want to spend the money to fix the little girls leg so we made arrangements to fly to St. Louis and pick her up. (Celia, Heddie & Vikki made this possible, without them she would not be with us today). She was the star of the show on the plane and kept the travelers spirits high when the plane was delayed for four hours!

She is not sick anymore but her leg is still broken. She will be going to the doctor on Tuesday (12/19) so the doctors can determine what she needs. The initial estimates are several hundred dollars but could be higher. We need your help with her bill for surgery.

If you can spare a dollar, five, ten, whatever! Please send it in on Noelle's behalf. She is a darling girl, full of life and she deserves a happy puppyhood.

You may send donations to ARRF, PO Box 33316, Raleigh, NC 27636 if you would like a tax deductible receipt sent or you may send donations directly to BayLeaf Animal Hospital 10009 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615. Please be sure to note Care of Noelle on your donations.

Check back often for updates and new pictures of our newest baby!!

12/20/05 - New pics of Noelle and her foster brother Christian have been added to the Punkin Patch Photo Gallery. We are waiting for the final evaluation of her xrays and will update this page in the next day.

12/22/05 - Noelle's final evaluation has come back and it is sad news. The doctors have recommended that we let her get a little older and amputate her leg. The break was left untreated by the breeder for weeks and it has healed improperly. Even if they went in and put pins in her leg, they think she would still have problems with her hip and or knee joints.

On the bright side, she is very young and already seems well adjusted to getting around on 3 legs. She is a sweet little bundle of energy and we know she will adapt just fine.

Please consider making a small donation to either ARRF or Bayleaf on her behalf. We have raised the funds to cover her evaluation and transportation from St. Louis but we still need to raise the funds for her surgery.

12/28/05 - So far we have raised the money for her transportation and evaluations totaling $611. Noelle's surgery will cost between $500 & $700. Please help us help her!!

Surgical Fund Goal - $585
Current Funds Raised - $555

1/1/2006 - Thank you to all Noelle's Sponsors for contributing to her surgery fund!! What a wonderful year this is going to be for her.

Noelle is scheduled for amputation the last week of February. She is a tough little girl and will do just fine. Check back for updates.

2/24/06-UPDATE- Noelle made it through surgery and will be released today to start recovery. She had her right rear leg amputated. She is a strong little gal and will not let this slow her down! I will post pictures as she recovers.

2/28/06-Noelle is doing great! She is more annoyed with the e-collar she has to wear than missing her leg. She is healing nicely and full of herself!!

**Thank you to everyone that donated for her surgery. If you would like to contribute towards her vet bill, we only need another $85.00 to cover her cost of surgery, you can either mail your donation to our PO Box or to Bayleaf Animal Hospital, make sure you note for "Noelle's Surgery".

3/13-Thank you for your donations, we only have $30.00 left to pay the vet for Noelle's surgery. If you can donate just $5.00 that will add up quick.

**Noelle has made a full recovery and full of energy.
