My name is Sage, I was found as a puppy barely 4 months old on my own in the woods where someone had dumped me, I was terrified, skinny and on my own, I managed to find the courage to crawl to someones house and hope they would help me.  The lady at that house took me in, fed me and contacted the Rottweiler rescue and I met my very fisrt foster mommy at the Rescue facility.  But I was terrified. There was so much barking and it was so loud and I was so scared, I was just a baby.  I would hide in the back of my crate and I ran as fast as I could to get away from all the other dogs.  My foster mommy decided I needed a foster home so she sent me to Tennessee and I met my next foster mommy.  Things were much better there.  I learned how to play and gained weight.  I learned what a vacuum cleaner was and how to ride in a car.  I learned that it really wasn;t such a scary world after all.

I was adopted but the person that adopted me never sent in the adoption fee for me and the people at the rescue tried and tried to get my new mommy to pay for me but she never did, and my old foster mommy came and repossesed me.  So here I am now back up for adoption, but my new foster mommy says it's a good thing because when she picked me up, I was dirty and smelly and when she got me home she put me right in the bathtub only to discover I was completely infested with fleas.  I knew my foster mommy had sent me with some medicine but I couldn;t put it on myself.  This past Monday me and foster mommy went to the vet and I got a capstar to kill my flease and some more frontline, I got a booster shot, got some medicine for tapeworms cause the vet said that fleas cause worms and thats probably why I am a bit underweight. 

Mommy put me back on my puppy food cause the vet said senior food was really bad for me (thats what I was eating at the other home) and I am now on the road to recovery again.  I love to play,play,play.  I also love to ride in the car.  I am in search of my new forever home although I know that whomever applies for me is going to have to pass some really tough questions and applications after what I have been through already, but ya know what??? Look at me, I am soooo worth it.  I am a good girl, I didn;t ask for this.  I will love you more than you can imagine, I only ask for that in return.
