Grab the tissues folks, you're gonna need 'em.

Meet Sullivan aka 'Sully'. His family is moving to Australia and couldn't take him or his other animal siblings. Now, I know what a lot of you are thinking because I thought it too- BUT... they did pursue taking them along. Beside the extravagant cost (upward of 10k) for transport, it was more so the two days the animals would have to endure in cargo PLUS a 6 month quarantine outside of a loving home that seemed unfair...and pressed the heartbreaking decision to leave them behind with hopes that someone here could provide an easier transition for them. His 10 year old human with whom he slept with every night is probably taking it the hardest...

Sully is 7 years old but still has a lot of pep in his step! He loves walks, toys and LOTS of cuddles. Ideally his new humans should allow couch or bed snuggling fur friends.

Just a few highlights:

House broken

Knows basic commands

Crate trained (had not been using or needed in his home since he was younger, but easily used in foster home)

Neutered and UTD on vaccines/prevntatives

Good with kids, dogs and cats

Guys, low maintenance gems like Sully don't come through rescue often! He is a little nervous currently, being his entire world was just turned upside down, but can you blame him!? All and all he's a chill, friendly guy. He would be a great starter dog for people with kids who realistically don't have the capacity for a puppy or anyone who would like a moderately active dog without puppy chaos!
